Catching up on yesterday’s prompt, which was to write a ‘Unique’ poem. Consider this a little tribute to our dearly departed Mr. Bowie. And enjoy…
Turn and Face the Strange
What the world calls strange
And casts aside as ‘odd’,
Are beautiful sights to behold.
Those who live in a straight line
May never experience them.
It takes a slightly twisted mind
To open oneself to the odd
To embrace life’s eccentricities
And dare to be the different one
In a world soaked with ‘same old’.
