‘Purity’

purity-culture

Purity

Innocent little girl
Wrapped in white shell
Skips through sand
With dainty feet
Smooth and pure
Never dry nor cracked
Then into water
That cleanses each day.

Sweet-voiced angel
Swims to the sun
And back again
‘Til wings turn tired
Then flying once more
Come tomorrow’s light
And for years still
While innocence remains.
