NOTE: I’m slowly playing catch-up with these as I’ve been away on a cruise this week, but getting there!
Day 25’s Prompt: Write a love and/or an anti-love poem
(I opted for the former, as my soppiness usually wins out in these cases…)
Love is lying on a bed
Laughing about nothing
And ignoring the world
Just for a few sweet hours,
Simply enjoying the warm arms
Of your cherished other
Finally knowing the pleasure
Of being alone yet together.
